DRAGON FRUIT

The dragon fruit is bright pink in clour and is enclosed with small green petal-like sheath leaves. The juicy flesh has a delicate sweet and slightly sour taste. There are a great number of small crunchy black seeds, which provide excellent dietary fiber. Dragon fruits are most readily available from May to October ; they are grown In all parts of country, most extensively in Chanthaburi province. They provide vitamin C, potassium and have a high calcium content.
